you'll need to find someone you enjoy being around, as you'll be spending a lot of time with them. Your photographer will be one of the only vendors that you'll spend your entire day with. We need to vibe well. I’m not here to just get paid. I genuinely love not only attending weddings, but being the one who gets to capture the day? even better!
If we aren’t a personality match, I will let you know. We both need to have a fun, stress-free day in order for YOU to be happy, and ME to do my job correctly.

 Find someone who has the same kind of energy as you. If you hire a serious brooding artist type, but you're a very happy-go-lucky and silly person at heart, there's going to be a mismatch of personality there. And we both do not want that! Meee, I’m a silly fun adventurous soul. I will dance with you when cupid shuffle comes on, I will make jokes to get some great laughing reactions out of everyone. I will most definitely partake in shotgunning a beer with the bridal party when my job is over, if I am asked to of course! But, most importantly, my main focus is YOU and your partner.

Start off by filling out my contact form with as much information as possible! (There is never too much you can say, so go for it!) Once I receive that, I will reach out to you ASAP to set up a phone call, zoom meeting, or meeting in person. We will then get to know each other and see what package is going to fit your needs the best!

Make a Plan
During our call or meeting, we will go over all the details, brainstorm any ideas you have, and put together the best plan for how you would like your day to be captured.

Booking
After we complete all the brainstorming and figure out what package fits best for you, I will send over the contract and retainer email to secure your date! You’ll then receive the ultimate guide to executing an amazing and successful wedding with all the tips, tricks and advice to keep your day running smoothly and so I can capture the perfect images! 

so what's next?

Pre-Wedding Process
Once booked, I’m here for you every step of the way. I help with ceremony timeframes, best time for family/bridal photos, and even make a timeline for you if you need it. A lot of my brides have TONS of questions, feel free to message me at any time, and I will be glad to help answer those questions. I strongly encourage an engagement session ( which is why they are included complimentary in my packages) to get to know each other a little better and so you can see how I work. It makes the big day so much easier. Then, we will meet up or talk on the phone closer to your wedding as well, and I also have a pre-wedding questionnaire I will send out about 2 months prior to your wedding. This helps me smooth over the fine details of the day.

Wedding Day Process
It’s became a tradition to wake up and immediately send a “YAYYY!! ITS YOUR WEDDING DAY!!!!” text to all of my brides! Its because of excitement and also I feel this also lets them know I am prepared & ready! Once I arrive, I start immediately with detail shots, these are my fave. Its best to have it all ready when I get there. things to have include: Rings, Invitations and/or save the dates, grooms cufflinks, tie, brides jewelry, perfume you’ll be wearing, cologne groom will be wearing, garters, veil, dress, shoes & any sentimental items you want included.

after details I begin “getting ready” shots. And if your HMUA artist has already left, don’t worry! we can fake it! all I need is a hand from someone to pretend apply a little blush, or lipstick. that simple! The day then will depend on if your doing a first look or not. We’ll talk more about this in person or on the phone at one of our meet ups!

Post Wedding Process
Whew I’m tired.. haha! but seriously, I am exhausted after a wedding, who isn’t? Regardless, that doesn’t stop me from coming home and immediately editing some of my fave shots throughout the day to share in your preview the following day. And from there on out, I am editing to my little hearts content, fine tuning images, making sure they are perfect, Until I am officially done with your gallery!

Things I should know
Provide me with an order of service, so that I know what is happening and when. Having a special exit? Planning a fun Father/Daughter dance off? Is someone going to surprise someone with a gift? Let me know before the wedding so I am prepared.

If there are any awkward family circumstances, you should let me know, so that I can position the subjects accordingly and be as tactful as possible.
